What makes up the price

Size of the sleeping area

The area of the sleeping surface is the biggest single factor. More area means more material, more support structure, and more effort to build.

A 140×200 cm bed costs significantly less than a 300×200 cm bed with the same features.

Type of access

A ladder is the most affordable option. Stairs are more comfortable but cost more. Shelf stairs combine storage with the ascent and are the most expensive variant.

The difference between a ladder and shelf stairs can amount to several hundred euros.

Railing

No railing costs nothing. A simple railing with straight infill is the standard. A complex railing with a pattern or custom shape costs more.

The railing secures the side that is not against the wall.

Why a range and not a fixed price? Ceiling height, wall condition, assembly effort, and personal preferences all influence the price. The binding price is only set after the 3D model.
